Mathu Recognition of Public Service Scholarship

Recipient must be enrolled in one of the following academic programs at Western Technical College:
Associate Degrees: Criminal Justice, Human Services, Early Childhood Education, Foundations of Teacher Education, Fire Protection Technician, Legal Studies/Paralegal, Nursing
Technical Diplomas: Early Childhood Professional, Educational Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician (Basic, Advanced, or Paramedic), Nursing Assistant

Academic Standing:
Recipient should maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher at the time of application.

Residency Requirement:
Preference must be given to applicants who claim residency in La Crosse County, Wisconsin.

Community/Public Service Commitment:
Preference should be given to applicants whose Western Foundation application demonstrates a clear intention to leverage their studies and experiences to serve the community and/or the public writ large.
