TCI Architects/Engineers/Contractor-Frank Kistler Endowed Scholarship

TCI Architects/Engineers/Contractor-Frank Kistler Endowed Scholarship

Frank Kistler, TCI’s Director of Field Operations, along with a developer from Missouri, perished together on Tuesday, November 29, 1994 in a tragic plane explosion. They were enroute from La Crosse, Wisconsin, to a construction site in Kalispell, Montana, where TCI was building a new Wal-Mart.

The impact of Frank’s loss on the business and civic communities he served with heart, soul, and might could never be measured. It is impossible to replace Frank Kistler. The only thing that can be done is to practice what Frank taught us. The means and methods of construction Frank shared with his superintendents and the standards of excellence he brought to the field; will continue through the disciples who looked to him as a role model, farsighted problem solver, mentor and friend.

To insure Frank’s techniques live on, TCI and Frank’s family have set up this scholarship in his memory. Frank wanted young people to know about the promising future, which could be found in this industry. Through a construction related scholarship, we hope to make one of his wishes come true.
