Mark "Rudy" Von Ruden Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established by the family and friends of Mark “Rudy” Von Ruden to honor his memory. Mark will always be remembered for his strong work ethic, sense of humor and inviting personality. He was always quick to lend a helping hand or support to anyone in need. Mark’s professional career started after graduating from Chippewa Valley Technical College power linesman program. He worked numerous construction jobs which he excelled at and concluded as a member of the City of La Crosse Street Department concrete crew. At the core this scholarship is geared towards the construction trades and Mark’s love of building things with his hands. But also honors Mark’s compassionate side with the nursing programs and his creative side and love of cooking with the culinary arts program.
