Henry Michaels Endowed Scholarship
Henry Michaels was a typesetter at the La Crosse Tribune for 25 years. The last ten years of his employment was on the night shift while attending the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse during the days. After receiving a degree in Art Education and a masters in media, he resigned and began an 18-year second career at Western teaching Graphic Arts. Henry loved the students and was very proud to be associated with the school, having great respect for his colleagues. His family and friends established this scholarship in his name in 1998.
