Gilbert Homstad Endowed Scholarship
As former president of the Jackson County Bank in Black River Falls, Wisconsin, Gil Homstad understands both the value and cost of a good education. “Scholarships are important because education is very expensive today,” he said.
Homstad has established a scholarship endowment fund for Jackson County students because he has seen so many young persons borrow heavily to finance their educations. “I know it will be difficult for them when they get out of school and have that debt.”
Homstad also served as a trustee on the Foundation Board.
