Deb Klug Memorial Endowed Scholarship

For over 43 years, Deb Klug made Western Technical College a better place—with more than 30 of those years spent guiding, mentoring, and inspiring students in the culinary program. She had a gift for making everyone feel seen, capable, and cared for.

To celebrate her incredible legacy, the Deb Klug Memorial Endowed Scholarship has been created to support students working in the food service industry, with special preference for Union Market employees on Western’s La Crosse campus—where Deb’s own journey began.

We’re working to endow this scholarship, so her impact lives on forever—helping students succeed, just as she always did.
